What's included: Prices are for one person and include accommodation, breakfast and lunch daily. (Dinner is not included but can be requested on-site for days you aren't at the festival.)

Transport to and from Envision festival to our center during the festival days is included.

Private cabins can be shared with a friend or partner by adding a second guest at checkout. For shared cabins you will be randomly matched with other guests.

Food: Breakfast and lunch are provided daily during your stay, and included in the final price when booking. Dinner options will be available for purchase with advance notice, should you choose to spend any full day at the center during the festival week. We will also provide dinner on arrival day and breakfast on day of departure as part of your stay with us.

Travel: During the Envision festival days we will have regular transport shuttles to and from Envision.

Travel to/from Costa Rica and to the center is not included, however we can recommend local transportation partners. Travel from San Jose international airport to our retreat center is roughly 4-5 hours by car. 

Cancellation Policy: A 50% Deposit payment is required to book your space. The remaining 50% will be processed 30 days prior to the start of the course.

89-30 days: 50% refund
29 days or less: No refunds

Please note: 13% tax will be added to all costs.

We know that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change, but our cancellation and refund policies are absolute. We recommend trip insurance that includes coverage for cancellations made for any reason. We recommend insurance companies such as: Travel Guard or World Nomads any other well-known travel insurance company.

Precio Tico: For Costa Rican nationals we offer a 50% discount on listed prices. Please email hello@junglegayborhood.com for further information. A Costa Rican passport or identity card is required.

Doggo Notice: We have two very loving and friendly pups - Bodhi and Luna - who live here at the Gayborhood. Aside from the occasional barking spree at incoming cars, they are quiet, harmless, and very sweet. If you have any concerns about dogs being onsite, please reach out to discuss. If you have any concerns about dogs being onsite, please reach out to discuss. Aside from Bodhi and Luna, the Gayborhood is a pet-free property, please leave your furry friends at home.

4x4 (4WD) Notice: Please note that the road leading to our property is a dirt road, and during heavy rains it can be challenging for non-4x4 / 4WD vehicles to exit. In this case, non-4x4 vehicles may need to wait until any heavy rains subside before attempting to leave. Please keep this in mind when renting a vehicle or booking transportation.

Stay with us during Envision 2025 between March 3 – March 9 2025, at our LGBTQ+ dedicated retreat center in the beautiful Diamante Valley of Costa Rica. We are nestled in the jungle just behind Uvita, approximately 45 minutes by car from the Envision Festival. Dedicated transport to and from Envision Festival is provided for guests, operating daily, day and night.

Enjoy unwinding in our beautiful handcrafted bamboo cabins, with superior bedding and furnishings for a restful and comfortable night sleep, with nourishing meals provided on site, and space to meditate and be still when not at the festival. We also have easy trail access to waterfalls and rivers on the property to enjoy in your downtime.

During Envision 2023 & 2024, we hosted our JungleFag Fiesta party mid week of the festival in our space, and the event was the very best of queer connection and celebration! Envision 2025 proves to be another opportunity for us to consciously connect and celebrate with Jungle Fag Fiesta: Envision 2025 edition, at the Jungle Gayborhood. (Further details for the fiesta to be announced!)

When you’re not at the festival, you’ll be able to enjoy relaxation, activity, movement, community, nature, silence, and rest at our centre. You can tailor your stay while you’re with us, options include:

  • Exploring the jungle trails, waterfalls and rivers of the Diamante valley on our beautiful property, several natural swimming pools and waterfalls are accessible on our property, (bring your swimming bathers!)
  • Opportunity to book sessions with local healer practitioners, including bodywork, massage, vocal activation, trauma healing, herbal and natural remedy consultations and guided plant medicine journeys.*
  • Opportunity to book local excursions to other nature spots and places of interest in the Valley and surrounding areas, including visiting the weekly local farmers market, diamanté waterfall hike (all day), Nauyaca waterfall tour (half day) and a beach trip!*
  • Share nutritious and delicious meals in community, prepared by our in-house chef, with the opportunity to connect with others.
  • Spend time immersed in nature and relaxing in your hand-crafted bamboo cabin, with comfortable and superior quality furnishings, overlooking the forest canopy.
