Nai Kaya

Nai Kaya cosmotropes through the earthly realms with inspiration, dedication, training, and love from the Amazonian Shipibo tradition of sacred plants through the Lopez/Mahua lineage. Her strongest connection and soulful songs hail from the sacred bioluminescent tree NOYA RAO in the Amazon jungle.
Nai’s connection to her own healing and self-discovery with plants and fungi began 27 years ago with the last 18 years dedicated to Amazonian plant shamanism and spiritual practice through Dieta within the Amazonian Shipibo tradition. Nai is a true and dedicated Vegitalista of the plants and has been facilitating a safe space for others to connect to plant spirits for their healing, inspiration, and self-agency for over 10 years. She has founded and created a community Temple in the Oakland, California. This altar to the plants is a living dedication of love and sacrament to the community of Oakland and beyond.
Nai Kaya is a witness, a weaver, and artist of sound and visuals. You can feel her ancient stories and yours through her icaros. She is a certified sound healer and stitches sound and energy work into her ceremonies. She weaves and chants in the Shipibo, Quechua and Lakota traditions. Nai is trauma informed and holds a deep space for healing to occur. She believes in the wisdom and deep intelligence of the plants and the natural world for guidance. She embodies a felt experience of healing complex trauma through Somatic Experiencing, IFS therapy, Meditation, and Dieta through the Shipibo tradition. She identifies as a queer spirit, considers herself Poly-Plant-Amourus, and believes in the liberation and sovereignty of all living beings.
Nai holds space with laughter and humility. When she is not busy with clients, she spends her time making potions of heart and magic, recording music, finding new hot springs, dancing with the spirits, studying new healing modalities, gardening, and flirting with the divine.
